NASHVILLE, TENN. (October 22, 2021) — The all-star collaborations keep coming as HIXTAPE: Vol. 2 hits week seven, with “Drink Up (feat. Lee Brice, Randy Houser & HARDY)” arriving today (10/22).
A pure party starter with an on-the-rocks theme, “Drink Up” was written by HIXTAPE series founder and CMA New Artist of the Year nominee HARDY with Mark Holman and Chase McGill. Like an anthem for happy hour (no matter what time it is), the track finds a trio of Country stars raising glasses and good times, with a hard-driving distorted stomp from producer Joey Moi and co-producer Derek Wells.

HIXTAPE: Vol. 2 is a groundbreaking Country collaborations album, with a star-studded list of artists creating the ultimate mixtape of backroads bangers and party-friendly anthems.

Following the original HIXTAPE: Vol. 1 (2019), the series now expands to become bigger than any one star, with 14 new tracks and 33 artists in total. “Drink Up (feat. Lee Brice, Randy Houser & HARDY)” follows last week’s installment, “Break Your Own Damn Heart (feat. Midland & Marty Stuart),” which Billboard lauds “barroom-burnished vocals from Stuart and Midland fuel this clever rebuttal to a girl with a reputation for breaking hearts.” Previously released tracks include “Small Town On It (feat. Chris Lane & Scotty McCreery),” “To Hank (feat. HARDY,  Brantley Gilbert & Colt Ford),” “In Love With My Problems (feat. Larry Fleet & Jon Pardi),” “WD-40 4WD (feat.
